Fans have been impatiently awaiting the arrival of Young Justice season 3. We still don't have an exact premiere, date, but it is coming. Warner Bros. held a panel for the highly-anticipated return of Young Justice at San Diego Comic-Con this year and they decided to give us our very first look at the series return. They didn't bring a trailer, but they debuted a bunch of concept art, revealing the new full lineup and the looks of all the characters.

Young Justice: Outsiders, which is the official title of the new season, was given a new banner image by Warner Bros. that features the entire new lineup. The DC Comics Twitter also shared some art that debuted at the panel. From left to right, the image includes Static, Kid Flash, Robin, Wonder Girl, Spoiler, Blue Beetle, an all-new character Thirteen, Arrowette, Arsenal, and Beast Boy. A lot of familiar names there, but some interesting inclusions as well, like Arrowette. Here is the official synopsis for Young Justice Season 3.

"In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage Super Heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains and super secrets. In the highly anticipated new season, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy."

The other art featured below gives us some closer looks at several of the characters, as well as the new logo for the show. Young Justice: Outsiders is going to be taking place several years after the conclusion of Young Justice season 2 and, at the panel, it was revealed that the new season will skew toward an older audience in order to keep with the characters as they grow older and as the audience grows older as well.

DC will be launching their own, currently unnamed "direct-to-consumer" digital content streaming service in 2018 and that is where Young Justice Season 3 is going to live. Because the show will be on a streaming service and not a network, that will allow for the creators to have a little more freedom and to tell the stories that they want to tell. So you may want to plan accordingly since you are going to have to pay for a new subscription service to watch the show.

The other good news is that Young Justice: Outsiders is going to be lengthy. Currently, 12 scripts for the new season are finished, with 10 more in the works and 4 that haven't been started yet. That gives us a grand total 26 episodes to look forward to. The team also mentioned that, should Season 3 prove successful, they already have ideas for a Season 4 and even a Season 5.
