Sony has teamed up with WWE and Mattel for a set of slamming new action figures that turn Superstar Legends into Ghostbusters. These are some of the coolest toys we've seen hit Comic-Con yet, but it's still early. That said, this is the first time we're seeing John Cena, The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin suited and booted, ready to kick some ghost butt.

The giant Ghostbusters Fan Fest this past June alerted us to the new WWE collaboration, which takes both franchises in a wild new direction. Now we get to see exactly what that looks like. And guess what? They have officially turned the Undertaker into the big bad spirt that these haunt hunters have to take down.

The new toy line was introduced on the San Diego Comic Con floor tonight as part of their preview presentation. Fans on hand got to see Shawn Michael, John Cena, Dwayne Johnson and Steve Austin all wearing the signature Ghostbusters jumpsuits. And the Undertaker will surely be a coveted item amongst old school collectors with his translucent purple plastic body.

The image shows the four guys all looking ready to evaporate The Undertaker, posed in a playlet based on the end of the original 1984 Ghostbusters movie, complete with two terror dogs, otherwise known as the two loyal servants of Gozer, Zuul and Vinz Clortho. It's clear that The Undertaker is supposed to be standing in for Gozer, but the WWE Superstars aren't so easily defined.

It looks like The Rock is taking the place of Bill Murray's Peter Venkman, with John Cena as Dan Aykroyd's Ray Stantz, Sean Michaels as Harold Ramis' Egon Spengler, and Stone Cold bringing up the rear as Ernie Hudson's Winston Zedemore. When can you get your hands on these hot little pieces of plastic? Soon, friends, soon.

The Ghostbusting legends behind the 1984 classic are set to return soon in Ghostbusters 2020 with a new generation of spirit hunters. There is a big Ghostbusters 35th Anniversary panel being held at Comic-Con tomorrow. And these figures will only be a small part of the celebration. It's expected that fans will learn more about the new Ghostbusters, which is a true continuation of the franchise which ended in 1989 with Ghostbusters II. Its highly doubtful that the WWE guys will have any part to play in the movie but you never know. You can take a look at the toys from Ringside Collectibles below.
