When the CW Network announced their fall 2013 lineup earlier today, one of the projects that wasn't listed was the Wonder Woman pilot. Although the series will not be debuting this fall, network president Mark Pedowitz revealed that the project is not dead, but being re-developed.

" "It's being redeveloped. We don't want to produce something" that doesn't do the franchise justice. It's the trickiest of all the DC characters."

We reported in January that the pilot was being put on hold until the fall 2014 TV season. Allan Heinberg was writing the pilot script, but it is not known who has been brought on to re-develop the pilot.

The pilot was said to explore the teenage years of Wonder Woman. It remains possible that, should the network approve of the latest script, that they may order an off-season pilot, for a premiere in the spring of 2014.
