After promising that he could never do a series like Da Ali G Show again, Sacha Baron Cohen is back and he's up to his old tricks. Who Is America? is his new series, which debuts on Showtime this weekend, and it will see Cohen in disguise as new characters this time around. While many are very excited to see Cohen's brand of comedy return, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin is not very happy about it. Palin took to social media to call Cohen "evil" for the interview that he conducted with her.

In a lengthy social media post, Sarah Palin blasted Sacha Baron Cohen for posing as a wounded military veteran in order to interview her. The former Alaskan governor and Republican vice presidential candidate claims that she was "duped" by Cohen for his new Who is America? series and says that she is the victim of the comedian's "evil, exploitive, sick humor." Palin says that she and one of her daughters traveled across the country for the interview. She explains.

"Yup - we were duped. Ya' got me, Sacha. Feel better now? I join a long list of American public personalities who have fallen victim to the evil, exploitive, sick humor of the British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, enabled and sponsored by CBS/Showtime. This legit opportunity to honor American Vets and contribute to a legit Showtime historical documentary was requested of me via a speakers bureau. For my interview, my daughter and I were asked to travel across the country where Cohen (I presume) had heavily disguised himself as a disabled US Veteran, fake wheelchair and all."

According to Sarah Palin, one of Sacha Baron Cohen's new characters in Who is America? is a disabled military veteran who asked her questions that were full of "Hollywoodism's disrespect and sarcasm." Additionally, Palin says that the interview process was long and dared Cohen and Showtime to release the footage and show that she walked out of the interview after feeling disrespected. It wasn't until this week that the news broke that Cohen's new show was premiering, prompting Palin to realize that she had been "duped" by the comedian.

Sarah Palin then challenged Sacha Baron Cohen and Showtime to donate all proceeds from Who is America? to "a charitable group that actually respects and supports American Vets," before taking Cohen and the network to task for mocking military veterans. She called Cohen's actions "truly sick," and wonders how he can sleep at night doing the type of work that he does. Palin began to finish off her social media post by claiming that the production purposely took her and her daughter to the wrong airport in a deliberate attempt to have them miss their flight. Cohen has yet to respond to these accusations.

To finish her rant to Sacha Baron Cohen, Sarah Palin stated that her daughter thinks that the comedian is "a piece of sh*t." So far, we know that Who is America? will feature Palin, Trump University, and former vice president Dick Cheney. Cheney was featured in a clip over the weekend signing a water boarding kit for Cohen, noting that it was a "first" for him. As previously noted, Who is America? will premiere this Sunday, July 15th on Showtime. You can read the lengthy response to Sacha Baron Cohen at Sarah Palin's Facebook page.
