The What We Do in the Shadows season 2 trailer has arrived. The new footage teases Guillermo becoming a vampire hunter and some of the new guest stars. FX released two hilarious clips earlier this week to tease the upcoming season. And while they were good, they're nothing compared to the first full-length trailer, which shows the Super Bowl party that the gang gets invited to. However, they believe it is a Superb Owl party.

A Superb Owl party might be even cool than the actual Super Bowl. An undead Haley Joel Osment is briefly shown in the What We Do in the Shadows season 2 trailer, along with Craig Robinson. The comedian plays Derak, the "leader of a team of underground amateur vampire hunters." There is no sign of Star Wars icon Mark Hamill, though we know that he has signed on to play a role on the hit FX series. There will be a lot more surprise cameos announced at a later date.

Everybody thought that What We Do in the Shadows season 1 would top all seasons in terms of guests, but season 2 just might do it. With that being said, the guest stars are not what keeps people coming back every week. Nadja (Natasia Demetriou), Lazlo (Matt Berry), energy vampire Colin (Mark Proksch) are the true stars of the series. This season will see the gang attempting to get some sunscreen while Lazlo starts a musical act with Nadja. They seem pretty excited about their new song in the trailer. As for Colin, he is finding new way to drain the energy of his coworkers.

What We Do in the Shadows is based off of the movie of the same name. Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi wrote and helmed the mockumentary with Jemaine Clement. Together, they executive produce the FX series and Waititi sometimes comes on board to direct and guest star. Clement created the idea for the series, which has seen Dave Bautista, Evan Rachel Wood, Danny Trejo, Wesley Snipes, Paul Rubens, and Tilda Swinton all step in to play vampires.

What We Do in the Shadows season 2 will consist of 10 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on April 15th. The series will air on FX first and then the next day on Hulu. The premiere night will include the first two episodes, which will then go to one new episode a week. There's a lot going on in the world right now and we could all use some laughs, so let's all be grateful that What We Do in the Shadows season 2 is on the way and it's coming soon. You can check out the trailer above, thanks to the FX Networks YouTube channel. Let's also hope that the Superb Owl party catches on once we're able to have parties again.
