"These violent delights have violent ends." This is something that was teased by Jeffrey Wright's character Bernard earlier this season on Westworld and now as we approach the season finale, it looks like we are going to see that violent end. Following last night's wild and revealing episode, HBO has released a new trailer for the upcoming Westworld season 1 finale.

The trailer, which was recently uploaded to HBO' YouTube channel, teases the upcoming Westworld finale, titled "The Bicameral Mind." Warning, there are massive spoilers ahead, so if you are not totally caught up on Westworld, do not read ahead or watch the trailer. You have been warned. It appears that Anthony Hopkins' character Dr. Robert Ford will have finally completed his new narrative in this upcoming episode and it also looks like there is going to be a whole lot of blood spilled on both sides of the aisle, human and robot alike.

We can see glimpses of what's to come. The Man in Black (Ed Harris), with the help of Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), looks like he will finally be completing his season-long quest to uncover the secrets of Arnold's maze, with some violent results. Dolores doesn't look like she is going to go along with his plans quietly. It also appears that Maeve (Thandie Newton) is doing a fine job of building her army, but it also seems like she is going to discover that Ford made Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) shoot himself in the head. That isn't likely to sit well with her. There was a ton of hype leading up to the first season of Westworld and depending on how this final episode shakes out will ultimately determine if all that hype was worth it, or if all of these twists, turns and mystery will lead to an unsatisfying and frustrating cliffhanger.

Over the past couple of weeks, there have been some incredibly significant reveals, mostly surrounding Bernard's character. In episode 7 it was revealed that he was actually a robot and further, in the most recent episode, we found out that he was actually modeled after Ford's mysterious, dead partner Arnold. What's more is that Dolores was actually the one who killed Arnold, but we don't know a lot about the circumstances surrounding that. With these massive reveals and a lot of other loose ends in Westworld, HBO and the creative team behind the show has a lot to work with, but also a lot to try and tie up, heading into this season finale. The network has already given the green light to a second season, so don't be surprised if we get a Walking Dead style cliffhanger.

It looks like HBO may have saved the best for last and will be sending this first season out with a bang, and possibly a whole lot of blood.
