With AMC's highly-anticipated season of The Walking Dead just a week and a half away, the cable network has debuted a new behind-the-scenes video that showcases more footage from this season. This sneak peek shows the All Out War ahead between Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his Saviors, and the Alexandrians lead by Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), The Kingdom lead by King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and The Hilltop Colony lead by Maggie (Lauren Cohan). The video begins with several new shots from this season, while executive producer Gale Ann Hurd discussing how Rick was able to unite all of these communities together to stand up to Negan. Here's what Andrew Lincoln had to say about this new season in the video.

"It's very much about unity and fighting anyone who is willing to take on such a formidable opposition, who has to be willing to lose their life. I think that's certainly a cause worth dying for."

Executive producer Denise Huth adds that it's very motivating for these characters to be willing to join a cause they may lose their life for, because their cause is worth fighting for, which the producer adds is a powerful notion. Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon) adds that it makes perfect sense to go to war with Negan and The Saviors, because, "they aren't people you can reason with," which is accompanied by a new shot where Daryl, riding away on his motorcycle fires a single shot from his gun and causes a large explosion. Jeffrey Dean Morgan also teases that this season will "bring a lot of action," which will certainly be a far cry from the controversial Season 7.

The first half of Walking Dead Season 7 showed Rick doing whatever he could to appease the whims of Negan, after it was revealed that he killed off Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) in the premiere. After Negan killed the innocent Alexandrian Spencer Monroe (Austin Nichols), Rick started to see that Negan must be destroyed. In the back half of Season 7, he tried to unite the Hilltop Colony and The Kingdom to fight at their side, which culminated in the finale where Rick's new allies finally came stop The Saviors, igniting All Out War, which was the name of an iconic two-volume series of the Robert Kirkman comics.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan adds that he thinks a lot of fans want to see Negan "get his ass kicked" in The Walking Dead Season 8, but he doesn't think that's going to happen at all. However, Denise Huth adds that the this alliance of Alexandria, The Kingdom and Hilltop Colony is more formidable than Negan may realize, adding that he may not know how strong they are together. Norman Reedus thinks fans really want to see this massive group fight together, and that's what they're going to get. The video ends with a smiling Jeffrey Dean Morgan wondering if Negan is going to get what's coming to him, adding that he's sitting there making this video right now, so that may not happen, at least not quite yet.

It has been confirmed that The Walking Dead Season 8 premiere will give fans a glimpse at the mysterious Old Man Rick that was first seen at the end of the Comic-Con trailer, but showrunner Scott M. Gimple revealed in an interview that the full mystery surrounding this aging Rick won't be fully solved until the midseason finale. Descriptions for the second and third Season 8 episodes were also recently released, with the second episode following the alliance's plans for war continuing to unfold, and, "As Rick continues to fight, he encounters a familiar face," which may or may not be Eugene (Josh McDermitt), who has sided with Negan and The Saviors. The third episode teases that the war leads to, "unintended consequences for the Hilltop, the Kingdom, and Alexandria," while, "morality proves tricky in wartime."
