Daryl has been captured by Negan and his Saviors after lashing out at the leader during the Alexandria execution carried out by these Zombie Apocalypse overlords. Now, he sits in prison awaiting his fate. Grief-striken that he's gotten Glenn killed, he almost can't live with himself. In a new clip from this Sunday's episode The Cell, we see Dwight take Daryl to a fenced off yard full of zombies. There, other captured men fight for their lives. Dwight leans into Daryl. He gives him a choice. Will Daryl become a Savior? Or suffer a fate worse than death?

At the end of the Season 7 premiere, the nefarious Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) had slaughtered not one but two members of Rick's (Andrew Lincoln) crew, Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz) and Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun). He also took Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) prisoner after he tried attacking Negan. The premiere was both faithful to the introduction of Negan in the comics, while adding a new twist, since Abraham was supposed to die last year, with his original death taken by Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merrit Wever) on the small screen.

This latest preview, courtesy of AMC, shows Daryl is in a rough spot. And he looks a lot worse for wear. Dwight taunts the fan-favorite character, practicing kill shots with Daryl's trusty old crossbow. Daryl is dressed in a grey sweatsuit, with the letter A spray painted on his chest and back, signifying that he's from Alexandria. We see others dressed in a similar fashion, with different letters painted on their sweatshirts, identifying which colony they're from.

Last Sunday's episode gave us our first look at The Kingdom and its leader King Ezekiel (Khary Payton). Near its climax, King Ezekiel told his true origin story to Carol (Melissa McBride), in order to convince her to stay within the realm of he has built. Last night's episode ends with the two reaching a compromise, as Carol takes a house just outside The Kingdom. It remains to be seen if Morgan and Carol will reunite with Rick and his group anytime soon, but it may be for the best that they don't return to Alexandria anytime soon.

A trailer released this past Sunday night introduced The Walking Dead to a new mystery character, who offers a dire warning about Negan and The Saviors. She states that whatever Negan has done, there's more certainly more to come. Take a look at this latest sneak peek, as we await for Sunday's all-new episode of The Walking Dead Season 7.
