Shortly after last night's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, the network released a sneak peek, clip and new photos from next's week's Walking Dead Season 7 finale, The First Day of the Rest of Your Life, which airs Sunday, April 2 at 9 PM ET on AMC. It has already been confirmed that this season finale will be an extended 90-minute episode, which, judging from these videos, will set up the massive war to come between Rick's coalition that includes Alexandria, the Hilltop Colony and The Kingdom, who all fight to bring The Saviors' reign to an end. There will be SPOILERS below if you didn't catch last night's episode yet, so read on at your own risk.

While no major character died in last night's episode, fans were given quite the surprise when Rick and his traveling expedition returned to Alexandria, only to learn that they have a visitor, the Savior Dwight (Austin Amelio), who Rosita (Christian Serratos) had locked up in their prison cell. The episode came to an end with Dwight telling Rick that he wants to help them, although Daryl (Norman Reedus) tries to attack him, for all the hell Dwight put him through at The Sanctuary. The preview, which debuted on AMC's YouTube channel, reveals that Dwight wants Negan dead.

On the other side, while Dwight offers his assistance to Rick, Sasha is trapped in The Sanctuary, after her solo mission to kill Negan failed. Towards the end of last night's episode, she made a plea to Eugene, asking him to give her something to end her own life, because she didn't want Negan to use her to harm her people any more. Eugene eventually complies, but instead of giving her a weapon of some sort, he brings her a pill that, when ingested, will end her life, although it's clearly not what Sasha was looking for. It seems that her suicide ploy was all a ruse, to trick Eugene into giving her some sort of a weapon that she could then use on Negan. This preview teases that Negan does in fact want to use Sasha to try and get things "back on track" with Rick's group. Negan also coyly revealed in last night's episode, Something They Need, that he knows Rick is up to no good, which could mean that there is an informer among Rick's group, or perhaps at Hilltop or The Kingdom.

The preview ends in a cryptic fashion, when Sasha tells Negan that "no one has to die," with Negan replying, "You're wrong." While it seems clear that at least one major character will likely die in the season finale, we ultimately won't find out until the finale airs in just six short days. There had been rumors that Sonequa Martin-Green's Sasha may be killed off, especially since she recently signed on to play the lead character in CBS All Access' highly-anticipated series Star Trek Discovery, although there have been reports that the schedule for both shows would allow her to return to The Walking Dead. However, given the predicament that Sasha is in now, it's also possible that she won't make it to Season 8.

AMC has also released a clip that shows King Ezekiel (Khary Payton) trying to recruit Morgan (Lennie James) to join The Kingdom's fight. Ezekiel also notices that Morgan is wearing the armor of the late Benjamin (Logan Miller), the young Kingdom soldier who was shot by one of the Saviors, and died due to blood loss in this season's 14th episode, Bury Me Here. Eventually, Morgan is convinced to join King Ezekiel's small group of soldiers, which also includes fan favorite Jerry (Cooper Andrews), Carol (Melissa McBride) and others. If that wasn't enough, we also have two photos from The Walking Dead season finale, and eight more from last night's episode, along with last night's most talked-about scene, featuring Sasha's suicidal conversation with Eugene.
