President Trump bashed actor and Saturday Night Live impersonator, Alec Baldwin, early this morning after Baldwin told an interviewer that it was "agony" having to portray the president. Baldwin was a favorite target of Trump's during the 2016 presidential campaign and he frequently took to his favorite form of social media to call the actor's impersonations "sad." Donald Trump's White House has seen a series of setbacks over the last week, which may have attributed to his tirade on Alec Baldwin this morning, spelling his name wrong as well as the word "dying."

In a recent interview, Alec Baldwin was asked about his Donald Trump impersonation and the actor said it had become "like agony." Trump caught wind of Baldwin's comments and then took to Twitter early this morning to bash the actor for the first time since December. In his first tweet, which has since been deleted, there were grammar errors and he called Baldwin Alex, which caused Alex Baldwin to trend in the early morning. Trump then fixed up his tweet to say.

"Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!"

Donald Trump has never been a fan of Alec Baldwin's portrayal of him and has called it, "sad," "not funny," and "mean spirited" over the years. However, Baldwin took it upon himself to respond to the president and his jabs hit a little harder, though Trump has yet to respond. Baldwin had this to say.

"Agony though it may be, I'd like to hang in there for the impeachment hearings, the resignation speech, the farewell helicopter ride to Mara-A-Lago. You know. The Good Stuff. That we've all been waiting for... And Mr President... please ask your wife to stop calling me for SNL tickets. (Hey, Melania...we've got Charles Barkley this Saturday!)"

Alec Baldwin didn't stop there. He then followed up his first two tweets by saying that he was looking forward to the Trump Presidential Library. The actor joked that it would have a putting green, a live Twitter feed, and then something that's not appropriate to repeat here.

Alec Baldwin's brother, Billy, even got in the middle of the feud. Billy Baldwin rooted his response in some of the more controversial incidents that have happened over the course of the last week in the White House. He mentioned Hope Hicks stepping down from her White House Communications Director job as well as Donald Trump's new proposed steel and aluminum tariff while also taking a dig at the president's spelling. He explains.

"Hope lies & flies, Steel tariffs send market tumbling, Jared's 1/2 billion pay 4 play, Kelly: working for you is God's punishment, Mueller movin' on you like a bitch. Yet he tweets about Alex Baldwin's dieing career... P.S. He won an Emmy playing you... you never won an Emmy playing you."

President Donald Trump has yet to respond to the Baldwin Brothers, but he might have a long weekend due to intense storms across the east coast, which may keep him from visiting the "Winter White House." Darrell Hammond has also not responded to the president's praise of his Trump impersonation.
