Daniel Tosh and Tosh.0 will continue on in 2013 as Comedy Central has ordered a fifth season of its highest-rated and most-watched series, it was announced today by Kent Alterman, Head of Original Programming and Production, Comedy Central. Season 5 of Tosh.0 will consist of 30 episodes and premiere in January.

Said Alterman, "Despite the fact that Tosh.0 has more viewers than any other show on our network, and that Daniel has totally catalyzed his fans online, we still convinced ourselves to pick up the show for another season."

Said Tosh, "It's hard for me to get excited about anything when the Miami Dolphins look so terrible."

Currently in its fourth season, Tosh.0 ranks as the #1 entertainment series on all of television on Tuesday nights among Men 18-34 and Men 18-24 and continues its break-out ratings success for Comedy Central, averaging 3.7 million total viewers and a 2.7 Adult 18-49 rating across its two most recent seasons. The series will air its Fall Season premiere on Tuesday, September 25 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT and will conclude the season with a major milestone when Tosh.0 airs its 100th episode on Tuesday, November 27 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. Tosh.0 premiered on June 4, 2009 and features the razor-sharp humor and biting commentary from comedian Daniel Tosh and delves into all aspects of the Internet from the absolutely absurd to the incredibly ingenious in this weekly, topical series. Tosh continues to give subjects of notorious viral videos a second chance to redeem themselves from the embarrassment with which they have become synonymous with their very own "Web Redemption," featuring Internet sensations Sweet Brown and Krispy Kreme for the upcoming fall season.

The über-popular Tosh.0 blog operates 24/7/365 and is one of Comedy Central's most-visited properties. The multi-platform site provides rich digital content including updated daily blog posts, web-exclusive behind-the-scenes and interactive features. Fans can also follow @danieltosh on Twitter as he live tweets with his 6.7 million followers during each new episode and have access to even more content by joining the nearly 9 million fans of Tosh.0 on Facebook.

Tosh.0 is executive produced by Tosh, Charlie Siskel and Christie Smith. Gary S. Mann is the Executive in Charge of Production for Comedy Central.
