There's a lot of sexual assault being called out in the Hollywood community that perhaps was once going over looked. Not anymore. Shortly after news of a sexual assault scandal that broke involving famed movie blogger Harry Knowles and the Alamo Drafthouse, now comes a report that The Dukes of Hazzard star Tom Wopat is being accused of groping a 16 year-old girl.

Wopat was originally charged with groping a woman in Waltham, Massachusetts. But now he is facing additional charges in the case, as it has come to light that he also indecently assaulted an underaged girl, as court records show according to U.S. News.

Tom Wopat, who is 66 years-old, is accused of assaulting both the woman and the teenager back in July. The two females in question were actors, who were rehearsing alongside Wopat at the Reagle Music Theatre. Apparently the trio was starring in a stage production of 42nd Street. These new charges involving the juvenile were made public on Tuesday. TMZ was the first to bring the charges to the media's attention.

Tom Wopat's publicist did not feel the need to immediately respond to requests for a statement from the actor. While there is no word yet on Wopat's plea towards the young girl, the actor 'firmly denies' that he ever groped the older adult accusing him of these sexual advances.

Police records show the that 16 year-old accuser first spoke with cops about the incident back on August 16. This was two weeks after Wopat was initially arrested on his earlier charges. The teen claims that Wopat complimented her during the July 25 rehearsal. She claims he called her 'talented' and 'cute', as reported by the Waltham police.

The report goes onto state that Wopat was warned not to flirt with the girl because she was underage. He did not heed those warnings. And he reportedly stated the following.

"Don't worry, because my wife is 17 years younger than me, so I'm good."

The report goes onto claim that Wopat did not stop flirting with the girl, and even had some disturbing things to say to her. He is cited as stating the following to the girl, in trying to further along their relationship.

"I'm a creepy old man, you're really talented and really cute."

The report goes onto claim that Wopat poked the 16 year-old girl in the stomach, then later slapped her on the rear with his script, telling her, 'Nice Butt'. All of this was taken down in the official police report.

The young girl claims that just a few nights later, she witnessed Tom Wopat standing outside a female's dressing room. She saw him push on the door to go in. As he did so, Tom Wopat was heard stating this to no one in particular.

"I'm going in because I have to re-learn the names of all the girls because of their wigs."

The 16 year-old girl tried to stop Wopat from going inside the room, which led to an intense exchange between the two. Tom assured the teen that he 'wasn't peeking'. To which the girl responded, 'You kind of were.' Wobat is accused of continuing to linger outside of the dressing room door, and there is sufficient video evidence to back this up. The report goes onto say this.

"There does not seem to be any reason why he is walking back and forth in this hallway. Other than it appears he is interested in the girls dressing room."

Tom Wopat is scheduled to be arraigned October 24 on these new charges of indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or over. He also faces two counts of 'accosting or annoying another person'. The actor is free now on a $1000 bail, after he pled not guilty in August to charges of indecent assault and battery, as well as cocaine possession, which police reportedly recovered from his 1996 Ford Bronco after they arrested him.

The earlier accusations claim that Tom Wopat was grabbing and grinding his adult co-star's buttocks. Wopat was forced to leave the production in August. Executive producer of the Reagle Music Theatre Robert Eagle is currently reviewing his company's policies following these allegations. He states the following.

"We want to state unequivocally that sexual harassment, or harassment of any kind, is not tolerated at Reagle Music Theatre. Since we learned of the allegations, we have been working to review our policies and procedures, assuring that clear-cut protocols are in place for handling concerns and taking immediate and responsive action. We have also examined our actions in connection with the recent incidents to help identify any changes or improvements that are necessary to ensure our prompt and effective response to complaints or reports of sexual harassment."

Tom Wopat is best know as Luke Duke on the classic 70s series Dukes of Hazzard. He is also a celebrated star of the stage, having received Tony nominations for his roles in Annie Get Your Gun back in 1999, and Catered Affair in 2008. He is also a singer with his most recent album Wopat slated for release on October 27. The single 'Til Death Do Us Part was released earlier this month.
