At long last, the live-action version of Starfire has a proper costume. HBO Max has revealed the new supersuit for Kory Anders, aka Starfire in Titans season 3. The character has been played by Anna Diop since the beginning but she has never had a true superhero costume up to this point. That is poised to change and we now have a good look at what Diop will be wearing when the show returns.

The new Starfire outfit was shared across the show's social media channels. Anna Diop is decked out from head to toe in purple, with gold-armored highlights and green jewels. It looks similar to previous iterations of the character's costume from the comics and animated adaptations but with pants instead of a skirt. It was created by costume designer Laura Jean "LJ" Shannon. The HBO Max Twitter account shared the suit with the following caption.

In a retweet, the Titans Twitter account shared the images as well and in response said, "Yes we can and yes we will." The show originally premiered on the DC Universe streaming service. However, with the launch of HBO Max this year, WarnerMedia decided to consolidate, moving all content created for the DC service over to its new flagship streaming service. DC Universe has since been repurposed as a digital comic book subscription service. The first two seasons of Titans are now streaming on HBO Max.

Titans season 3 is currently in production. Aside from Starfire, other returning characters include Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing (Brenton Thwaites); Rachel Roth, aka Raven (Teagan Croft); Gar Logan, aka Beast Boy (Ryan Potter); Donna Troy, Wondergirl (Conor Leslie); Conner Kent, aka Superboy (Joshua Orpin); Blackfire (Damaris Lewis); Hank Hall, aka Hawk (Alan Ritchson); and Dawn Granger, aka Dove (Minka Kelly). Curran Walters will also be returning as Jason Todd. Walters will be taking up the mantle of Red Hood, a fan-favorite villain from the pages of DC Comics. This will mark the villain's live-action debut. We previously got a look at Red Hood's costume as well, which appeared to be quite faithful to the character.

Red Hood will not be the only villain joining in on the action this season. Scarecrow will also be added to the show but the actor playing the part has yet to be announced. Additionally, Barbara Gordon will be joining the show, though not as Batgirl. Instead, she will be taking up after her father as head of the Gotham City P.D.

The series was developed by Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns and Greg Berlanti. Johns, Berlanti, Greg Walker and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers. Titans season 3 does not yet have a release date set but it is expected to return in 2021. Be sure to check out Starfire's new costume from the HBO Max Twitter.
