The trailer for Titans season 2 was dropped last night, and it brought a ton of new characters with it. Bruce Wayne, Deathstroke, Ravager and Jericho, Aqualad, Krypto the Dog and Superboy, among others, are making their debut in the DC Universe show this season. The action-packed trailer has us excited for what's to come.

The series follows a group of young heroes that come together to find belonging and fight the forces of evil. In season 1, Dick Grayson, aka Robin, played by Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) became the leader of one of the most famous comic book teams ever assembled in the DC world. Joining him in the fight was Rachel Roth (Teagan Croft), a young girl possessed by darkness, the hot-headed Starfire (Anna Diop) and loveable Beast Boy (Ryan Potter). The first season saw the heroes come together as a family in order to prevent Hell on Earth.

No plot details have yet emerged for Season 2, but we can expect adventure, drama and a ton of new characters. Season 2 will feature Joshua Orpin as Conner Kent/Superboy, Esai Morales as Deathstroke, Chella Man as Deathstroke's son, Jericho Wilson, Chelsea T. Zhang as Deathstroke's daughter, Rose Wilson (aka The Ravager), Iain Glen as Bruce Wayne, Natlie Gumede as Mercy Graves and Drew Van Acker as Aqualad. That's right. Bruce Wayne is coming to the live-action show. There is no word yet on how prominent his role will be, and we are unlikely to see him suit up at any point in the series. Also along for the ride is Krypto the dog.

Titans took most fans by surprise. The concept was floated around for a couple years in development at the TNT network in 2014. The live-action series, however, was dropped. That is until 2017 when Warner Bros. announced the project would finally reach the small screen through the comic book and streaming service DC Universe. As news and images were released, fans were skeptical. When season 1 debuted in October 2018, it quickly built momentum through favorable reviews and word of mouth. Unlike the colorful cartoon, Teen Titans, that came before it, Titans is an ultra-violent, moody take on the classic team.

The series stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Teagan Croft (Home and Away) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand'r/Starfire, Alan Ritchson (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) & Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Hawk and Dove, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Lindsey Gort as Police Detective Amy Rohrbach. The series comes to us from Weed Road Pictures and Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. It comes from executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter.

Season 2 of Titans premieres on September 6 exclusively on the DC Universe. Also coming to from the streaming service this season are: the popular Doom Patrol for its second season, which will be airing episodes on DC Universe and HBO Max simultaneously, the Harley Quinn animated series, and season 4 of Young Justice. This trailer arrives direct from DC Universe.
