This video comes just after this week's "Blood Moon" lunar eclipse, which is fitting since a solar eclipse can be seen in the reflection of this pupil. In the original novel by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan, the solar eclipse marks the coming of Sardu, a.k.a. The Master. The microscopic creature seen in this teaser is the carrier of the ancient strain of vampirism that spreads like a plague in this FX series, which airs its series premiere in July.
