In last night's episode of The Walking Dead, conflict with The Saviors lead to unintended consequences for the Hilltop, the Kingdom, and Alexandria. Morality proved to be tricky in wartime, especially with characters like Morgan.

Rick and his survivors bring "All Out War" to Negan and his forces. The Saviors are larger, better-equipped, and ruthless, but Rick and the unified communities are fighting for the promise of a brighter future. The battle lines are drawn as they launch into a kinetic, action-packed offensive.

Up until now, survival has been the focus of Rick and our group, but it's not enough. They have to fight to take back their freedom so that they can live, so that they can rebuild. As with any battle, there will be losses, casualties. But with Rick leading the Alexandrian forces, Maggie leading the Hilltop, and King Ezekiel leading the Kingdom, Negan and the Saviors' grip on this world may finally be coming to an end.

Rick, now with the Hilltop and Kingdom communities at his side, starts an all-out war against the Saviors. After unifying them with the promise of a brighter future, he has convinced his people that taking down Negan is the only way. However, in order to defeat them, Rick is forced to embrace some cold brutality, sending him to a dark place that has him questioning his own humanity.

In next week's episode, a new weapon in the Savior arsenal will prove to be a giant hurdle as fighting continues between Rick's forces and those of the Saviors. Suffice it to say, there is nothing funny about The Walking Dead season 8.
