We still have a grueling three month wait before Season 4 of The Walking Dead debuts sometime in October on AMC. Insiders from the set have revealed intriguing new information about the season premiere, written by new showrunner Scott M. Gimple. The Season 4 premiere episode title has been revealed as "30 Days Without an Accident", which indicates that this episode takes place at least one month after the Season 3 finale, "Welcome to the Tombs, and that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group at the prison have been without a zombie incident for at least 30 days.

Greg Nicotero is directing the Season 4 premiere, although AMC has not announced exactly when this highly-anticipated episode will debut. We reported in April that Chad Coleman (Tyreese), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), and Emily Kinney (Beth) will be series regulars in Season 4, along with David Morrissey as The Governor. Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Steven Yeun (Glen), Chandler Riggs (Carl), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Melissa Suzanne McBride (Carol), Lauren Cohan (Maggie), Scott Wilson (Herschel), and Danai Gurira (Michonne) are also returning.
