As previously announced, the six new episodes of The Walking Dead will debut Sunday, February 28th at 9pm ET/8c followed by a new episode of Talking Dead each week. All episodes will be available early on AMC+ every Thursday, prior to the episodes' linear premieres, beginning February 25th. Fans of the hit AMC show were initially upset to hear that the long-running series is coming to an end with season 11, but the network is providing a ton of new content surrounding the franchise to keep everybody happy.

The Walking Dead is a story that started 10 years ago with one man trying to find his family. That initial family grew and gradually communities began to take shape. These communities fought and survived, thrived, and gave birth to a new generation. It is a tale of humankind and there are more stories to tell. The season 10 extension will preview those new stories ahead of the 2021 premiere of season 11.

The Walking Dead Holiday Special is produced by Embassy Row with Brandon Monk, Steve Markowitz, and Michael Davies serving as Executive Producers. The show is based on comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard, which has changed quite a bit from the source material in its 10 years on the air. While some fans didn't like to see the series stray away from the comic series, it has gone in interesting new directions that have people tuning in each week to see what will happen next. You can head over to the official AMC+ website to subscribe and stream The Walking Dead Holiday Special when it airs later this month.
