The Vampire Diaries is taking a page from the reality show The Amazing Race in the Season 4 episode "Into the Wild", airing Thursday, February 7 at 8 PM ET on The CW. Three teams are trying to find the cure for immortality, with one of said teams being Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Shane (David Alpay). The network has released two new photos of this duo scouring the Nova Scotia wilderness for a mystical cure.

Before "Into the Wild" airs, The Vampire Diaries continues its Season 4 run with "A View To a Kill" on Thursday, January 31 at 8 PM ET on The CW.
