NBC is planning on developing a new drama series based on a graphic novel by writers Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt titled The Sixth Gun.
The supernatural graphic novel is set in the Civil War and follows a group of wicked outlaws that stumble upon six pistols that contain otherworldy powers. The Sixth Gun possesses the most dangerous weapon. After mysteriously disappearing, it surfaces in the hands of a young innocent girl, who becomes a target of the band of cutthroats. Her savior, Drake Sinclair, comes to rescue her and takes down her pursuers.
The studio is teaming with Lost creator Carlton Cuse and screenwriter Ryan Condal.
