Game of Thrones alum Sophie Turner is keeping it royal for her next big role. After playing fan favorite character Sansa Stark throughout all eight seasons of the hit HBO series, Turner will voice a princess for the upcoming animated series The Prince on HBO Max. Created and executive produced by Gary Janetti (Family Guy), the series follows seven-year-old Prince George (Janetti) --- the first-born child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Turner will voice his sister, Princess Charlotte.

In a clip posted to his official Instagram account, Gary Janetti also provides a first look at Turner's character. Wearing a pig costume, George speaks to the camera about his family's plans for Halloween, stating that he and his siblings are going as the Three Little Pigs. Charlotte interrupts George's video to reveal that she'll instead be dressing up as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz, much to George's chagrin. You can check out the clip below.

Along with Gary Janetti as Prince George and Sophie Turner as Princess Charlotte, The Prince also features the voice talents of Orlando Bloom (The Lord of the Rings) as Prince Harry, Alan Cumming (GoldenEye) as George's butler Owen, Frances de la Tour (Enola Holmes) as Queen Elizabeth, Lucy Punch (A Series of Unfortunate Events) as Kate Middleton, Condola Rashad (Billions) as Meghan Markle, and Iwan Rheon (American Gods) as Prince William; Rheon also played Sansa's tormenter, Ramsay Bolton, for several seasons on Game of Thrones.

Since departing Game of Thrones, Turner also starred in the Quibi series Survive and portrayed Westley in the streamer's recreation of The Princess Bride. Last year, she also concluded her role as Jean Grey in the X-Men universe with her lead role in Dark Phoenix. Behind the scenes, Turner married singer Joe Jonas, and the two welcomed their first child in July. Turner also appeared in the music video for the Jonas Brothers song "What a Man Gotta Do" earlier this year.

Janetti has voice acted for Family Guy in addition to producing and writing several episodes. He was also the executive producer of Will and Grace. More recently, he has been getting a lot of attention on his Instagram page by satirizing Prince George, imagining how he would react to news stories concerning the various members of the British royal family. As of now, he is nearing one million followers on the platform. Janetti has also written the comedy book Do You Mind If I Cancel? (Things That Still Annoy Me, which became a New York Times Best Seller after it was released last year.

Earlier this year, HBO Max released the first trailer for The Prince with Janetti voicing the role while speaking directly to the camera. The animation depicts the seven-year-old as extremely catty, similar to the political satirization posts Janetti has been putting on Instagram. At the time, Turner's casting was not announced. The Prince does not yet have an official release date set, but look for it to premiere on HBO Max sometime in 2021. This news comes to us from Gary Janetti on Instagram.
