The Order Season 2 is coming to Netflix in 2020. The streaming platform just announced that they picked up the horror drama for its second season, which will consist of 10 episodes. Jake Manley and Sarah Grey are set to reprise their roles for Season 2 of the hit series. Production is expected to begin sometime this summer in Vancouver with a possible early 2020 release date. The first season of The Order debuted just a few weeks ago in March of 2019. Netflix released a short video to announce the Season 2 news, which you can watch below.

Netflix horror series The Order centers on college freshman Jack Morton (Jake Manley) as he joins The Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose, which is a secret society that comes together and practices magic. As Jack gets more involved in the secret society, he starts to uncover deep and dark family secrets, along with an underground battle between werewolves and the magical dark arts. Sarah Grey plays Alyssa, who is described as a "pretty and smart overachiever with a double major in political science who is a member of The Order and is attracted to Jack."

The first episode of The Order played out like a pretty standard supernatural drama with some dark humor hidden below the surface. However, by the time episode three comes on, the show plays off of the dark humor more and more. The show is marketed as a drama, so some viewers were a bit thrown off by the comedic transition featured in the series. With that being said, the show has been praised for its comedic nature after the fact and there are now many fans who are looking forward to seeing where Season 2 takes Jack Morton and his crew in the horror drama/comedy.

The Order was created by Dennis Heaton and written by Heaton, Shelley Eriksen, Rachel Langer, Jennica Harper, Penny Gummerson, and Jason Filiatrault. While plot details are obviously being kept under wraps for the time being, fans are hoping that Season 2 will dive more into the mysterious Order of the Blue Rose and uncover how large it really is. How far does the Order spread? Fans are also hoping to learn what really happened to Chloe and Sophia. "Someday we'll understand" is written on Chloe Morton's headstone and is considered to be one of the many mysterious of The Order.

Along with Jack Manley and Sarah Grey, The Order will feature some new actors, which have yet to be announced by Netflix at this time. However, it is expected that Katharine Isabelle, Matt Frewer, Sam Trammell, and Max Martini will all return. How Frewer's character can come back has not been explained, but it could be through flashbacks. You can check out The Order Season 2 announcement below, thanks to the Netflix YouTube account.
