Marvel Studios has gained a reputation for selecting actors and filmmakers whom most fans would not have previously considered for their superhero adventures. Today, The Middle star Eden Sher revealed on her Twitter page that she had a three-hour meeting with Marvel today that left her "paralyzed with excitement." Take a look at the tweet below, then read on for details.

Of course, now begins the speculative game of what role she could have been meeting for. While it's possible that she could be up for the title role in Marvel/Netflix's Jessica Jones TV series, that seems unlikely, since her ABC sitcom The Middle was recently picked up for Season 6.

However, since she is currently a part of the ABC family, she may have been up for a role on Marvel's Agent Carter, which we confirmed earlier this month only has an eight-episode first season, or she may also be coming in for a guest-starring spot on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. It's possible the network would allow the actress to juggle her schedule on The Middle for a role in another ABC show.

The 23-year-old actress may also be in contention to play Ms. Marvel, a feature that has been in development at Marvel Studios since May 2013. What other roles do you think Eden Sher would be right for in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Chime in with your thoughts below.

Aside from her role as Sue Heck on The Middle, Eden Sher also recently starred in the Veronica Mars movie.
