AMC has canceled The Killing after just two seasons on the air. The Season 2/series finale, "What I Know" finally revealed who killed Rosie Larson, wrapping up the 26-episode story line. Take a look at the statement released by AMC today regarding the cancellation.

The show's producers at Fox Television Studios also released a statement that indicated they will try to shop this series to other networks.

"Fox Television Studios is extremely proud of The Killing, the extraordinary writing staff and crew, and what we believe is one of the best casts on television. We will proceed to try to find another home for the show."

The Killing starred Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman as Sarah Linden and Stephen Holder, the lead detectives on the Rosie Larson murder case. The show also starred Bill Campbell, Eric Ladin, Jamie Anne Allman, Michelle Forbes, and Brendan Sexton III.
