HBO's Westworld pilot continues to add to its impressive cast, with Thandie Newton signing on to play brothel owner Maeve Millay.

The madame is described as "beautiful and razor-sharp" whose "seen-it-all-before worldview" is about to be challenged. The news comes just a few days after the actress' DirecTV series Rogue was renewed for two 10-episode seasons, although it's unclear how she will juggle both shows if Westworld is given a series order.

The series is inspired by the 1973 feature film Westworld, set in a futuristic theme park where visitors can live out their fantasies with the use of robots, before these androids rise up and start killing off patrons.

Anthony Hopkins stars as Dr. Robert Ford, who created the theme park and will do anything to bring his unique vision to life. The massive ensemble supporting cast includes Evan Rachel Wood, Jeffrey Wright, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal and James Marsden, who joined the cast last week.

Jonathan Nolan (Person of Interest) and Lisa Joy (Burn Notice) wrote the pilot script and will executive produce alongside J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub and Bryan Burk. Production on the pilot begins later this month.
