The cast of The CW's Supernatural appeared at San Diego Comic-Con to show off an epic highlight reel, which we have for you below, and to promote the upcoming 14th season of the hit show, which will contain its 300th episode. The show is the longest-running primetime sci-fi series of all time and fans had a blast with the last season, which included the Scooby-Doo episode that was entitled "Scoobynatural," and the weird stuff where Michael took over Dean's body. A lot went down in Season 13 and there's still some explaining to do, so hopefully Season 14 will clear the air.

The Supernatural Comic-Con panel was moderated by Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict, who both appear on the show. The panel included Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as well as Misha Collins and Alexander Calvert. Executive producers and co-showrunners Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb also took part in the panel, alongside executive producing/writing team Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner. They all gathered at Hall H to talk about the upcoming season without revealing anything that would be considered to be a spoiler.

While the cast and crew of Supernatural weren't ready to give away anything about the plot of Season 14, they did assure fans that Dean will be the main focus. However, there's no telling how or even when he will return to the fold. The Winchesters and Jack defeated Lucifer after Dean made a deal with Michael to use his body as a vessel to do so. Dean was under the assumption that he would remain in control, but at the very last second, Michael betrays them and takes full control to escape. Alexander Calvert had this to say about the return of Dean.

"I think the ultimate thing is getting Dean back. That's everyone's driving motivation, is to get him back in the fold."

In addition to the Dean news, the panel also featured some exclusive clips from the upcoming 14th season of Supernatural, which has not been released online as of this writing. But, Season 14 will see a big milestone for the series. Episode 13 of the upcoming season will mark the 300th episode, which the cast and crew promises will have major surprises. After seeing the "Scoobynatural" episode from last season, just about anything can happen. Except for that Wayward Sisters show, which never made it past the pilot.

Season 14 of Supernatural will premiere on Thursday, October 11th at 8 PM on The CW. There's going to be some pretty big shockers coming up for the new season, but we just don't know what they are yet because everybody at Comic-Con was very tight-lipped about the future of the show. That's a good thing though, it means that Supernatural will continue to surprise fans and keep them on their toes. While we wait for some more news regarding the plot of Season 14, you can check out a recap of the last season below, thanks to the The CW Network YouTube channel.
