Supergirl is returning this January for a handful of episodes before taking an extended hiatus heading into spring. But fans shouldn't worry. This series looks like it is far from being in trouble, with an exciting new batch of images direct from The CW.

What makes these latest photos from the January 22 episode so special? Well, they feature original Superman star Sarah Douglas. She is set to debut as Jindah Kol Rozz in the episode called Fort Rozz. And she looks pretty imposing.

This is our first official look at Rozz, and it's really something else. We also get to see a ton more photos from this particular episode of the popular ArrowVerse superhero adventure. There are a total of 9 official stills in all, and along with Douglas, we get to see a couple of the other key players.

Superman fans will best remember Sarah Douglas as Ursa in the 1978 movie directed by Richard Donner. She later returned for a much bigger role in the sequel Superman 2. The January 22 episode of Supergirl finds Kara teaming up with Saturn Girl and former enemies Livewire and Psi in an attempt to rescue a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all.

In these new images we get to see Brit Morgan as Leslie Willis, aka Livewire, as she slings some hot coffee in a dinner with her signature platinum blonde hair and a definite 'Kiss My Grits' look on her face as she channels Flo from the classic sitcom Alice. We also get a look at Odette Annable as Samantha Arias in her cool Reign costume.

Series star Melissa Benoist isn't left out, appearing in these new images as Kara, aka Supergirl, looking a little too serious as she stares down Rozz. Sarah Douglas takes center stage in three of the new photos, as she comes face to face with Kara, who looks none too pleased to see the villain. Another photo shows Reign and Supergirl getting a little bit of FaceTime with each other. And we also see Supergirl coming to the aid of a fallen comrade.

Aside from the Razz photos, perhaps the best thing in this batch of images is a photo of Livewire and Reign coming face to face for a fight. Reign has Leslie in a chokehold, but it doesn't look like Livewire is giving up without a fight. You can check out all the images below.

Supergirl Season 3 returns Monday January 15th at 8pm on The CW, but we'll have to wait until this spring to see if the show gets renewed for a fourth season. Supergirl will run for four weeks until giving way to Legends of Tomorrow on February 12th, 2018. The Legends of Tomorrow third season finale will air April 9th and the Supergirl will be back on April 16th and run until it's season finale on June 18th.
