YouTube Red has debuted a new lyric video for the Drum n Bass main title theme that plays at the beginning of each Step Up: High Water episode. This is an extended vocal version that features different cast members dancing. These main titles are created by Atlanta producer Kutt The Check (B.o.B, Travis Porter, Lupe Fiasco, T.I) and written by Jesse Leon McMullen. This video comes a month after the first trailer, as Step Up fans continue the countdown towards this new series, debuting on YouTube Red January 31.

Step Up: High Water is YouTube Red's first major big-budget original drama series starring Ne-Yo, Naya Rivera and Faizon Love, which will be followed later this year by the highly-anticipated Karate Kid revival series entitled Cobra Kai. This first series features epic dance battles and music-filled drama. Iconic co-stars Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum are bringing the flashback feels as they reunite with Adam Shankman as executive producers for the series. Audiences will also meet talented newcomers of YouTube fame include Jade Chynoweth, Lauryn McClain, Petrice Jones, Marcus Mitchell, Carlito Olivero, Terrence Green, Eric Graise and R. Marcos Taylor.

No Step Up production would be without some major music moments. The show will license songs from Atlanta-based artist 2 Chainz and more, while also producing original songs by four-time Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Jason "PooBear" Boyd and "Jingle" Jared Gutstadt. Based on the Step Up film franchise that grossed $650 million at the global box office and sparked a cultural phenomenon, this reinvented heart-pounding drama focuses on several ambitious young dancers in a contemporary performing arts school in Atlanta. Superstar singer/songwriter/producer and recurring actor Ne-Yo (The Wiz, World of Dance) joins series regulars singer/actress Naya Rivera (Glee) and actor/comedian Faizon Love (Couples Retreat, Elf) to headline the 10-episode series.

Welcome to Atlanta, home of High Water, the city's most cutthroat performing arts school. When twins Tal (Petrice Jones) and Janelle (Lauryn Alisa McClain) relocate from Ohio, they find themselves thrust into a world where every move is a test. As they attempt to navigate their new world, on and off the dance floor, they'll discover just how deep they're willing to dig to realize their dreams and seize their moment. Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and Meredith Milton, all producers of the original Step Up films, will executive produce the series, along with Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum

The original Step Up (2006) featured Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. Four more films followed in quick succession, Step Up 2: The Streets, Step Up: 3D, Step Up: Revolution and Step Up: All In, as the franchise grew into a wildly popular global dance and film phenomenon. It isn't clear if this YouTube series will feature any characters crossing over from the movie series, but it's certainly possible.
