Senior citizens react to the Netflix phenomenon, a new video points out everything wrong with Fantastic Four and Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets a 60-second animated breakdown. But wait, there's more! Star Wars: The Force Awakens gets mashed up with the beloved sci-fi series Doctor Who. Sit back, relax and check out all that today's Nerd Alert has to offer.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens Meets Doctor Who

Youtuber VG934 has combined his love of Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the sci-fi series Doctor Who to create a wonderful mashup trailer. The footage is from the 2005 season of Doctor Who, with Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, but with the help of some clever editing and John Williams' music from the final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, this is a mashup fans of both franchises will surely appreciate.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 1960s Trailer

While the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will be the first time these heroes are seen on the big screen together, The Dark Knight and the Man of Steel have been icons of the big and small screens for decades. Youtuber Leo Curbelo Films decided to create a new trailer with audio from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer and footage from the 1950s series Adventures of Superman starring George Reeves and the original 1966 Batman series with Adam West and Burt Ward. While it isn't the cleanest of mashups, in terms of syncing audio with the older footage, it's still quite entertaining.

Elders React to Netflix

Fine Brothers Entertainment is back with the latest video in their React series, where a group of senior citizens react to the Netflix streaming service. While most of these elders were aware of what Netflix was on some level, most had never actually tried the streaming service for themselves. It's quite interesting to see what shows and movies they search for, some of which Netflix has available, and some that aren't.

Everything Wrong With the Fantastic Four Reboot

If you find yourself with 18 minutes to kill, Cinema Sins has a thorough breakdown of "everything wrong" with the much-maligned Fantastic Four reboot. I'm kind of surprised this video isn't much longer, given how much people hated this movie, but this video is well worth a look-see, especially if you don't feel like sitting through the entire movie.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens 60-second Animated Breakdown

1A4 Studios has a series of videos known as "Speedruns," where they use hand-drawn animation to succinctly break down an entire movie in just 60 seconds. Last week, they debuted a new video for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is absolutely hilarious and shockingly thorough for a one-minute video. Hopefully we'll get more Speedruns for 2016 movies in the very near future, because I can't wait to see what they do next.

10 Spoilers Hidden in Plain Sight

Screen Rant is back with another one of their top 10 video lists, with this video focusing on spoilers for hit movies that have been hidden in plain sight. For instance, the iconic scene from Back to The Future with Doc Brown hanging from the clock tower was actually foreshadowed in a cryptic shot from the movie's opening moments.

10 Best Closing Shots of All Time

There's nothing like a good ending, and Cinefix has a new video that breaks down their favorite closing shots of all time. Their favorites span a wide swath of genres, with everything from Fight Club to the Western classic The Searchers, and this video is well worth a look-see.
