Star Trek: Voyager is celebrating its 25th anniversary in a very big way. Announced at the end of last year, Star Trek: The Cruise IV will set sail in 2020 with Kate Mulgrew, who played Captain Kathryn Janeway. It has now been announced that she will be joined by William Shatner, who will be making a very special appearance at some point during this luxury boat ride.

Other former Star Trek cast members have been announced, and this sounds like a dream come true for Trekkers, even if Janeway is at the helm. Coming aboard to celebrate from various different incarnations of the series are Robert Picardo, Ethan Phillips, Robert Duncan McNeill, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang, Jonathan Frakes, Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, Gates McFadden, Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, Nana Visitor, Casey Biggs, Chase Masterson, Max Grodènchik, Jeffrey Combs, Vaughn Armstrong and Wilson Cruz. Even more famous Star Trek faces will be added in the weeks and months to come.

Star Trek: The Cruise IV is going to open booking on January 14, 2019. This appears to be even more popular than the past three cruises, which have all sold out. So you'll want to jump on this opportunity the minute those tickets go on sale. But you'll need to make sure you have the needed free time. The cruise will set sail on March 1, 2020 and will go until March 8, for eight fun filled days of nothing but Star Trek, William Shatner and the open sea.
