Apple TV+ has released a teaser and first look at season 2 of acclaimed Apple Original series Servant. Executive produced by Academy Award-nominated director M. Night Shyamalan, the ten-episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first episode on January 15th, 2021, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday. Season 1 was a big hit for the streaming service, and the finale raised a lot of questions, which the latest teaser continues to build off of, without giving away too much.

Following its suspenseful season one finale, the second season of Servant takes a supernatural turn with a darker future for all lying ahead as Leanne returns to the brownstone and her true nature is revealed. At least we know that Leanne will be returning, but that still leaves a bigger mystery to solve over the course of a new season. The cast of Servant including Lauren Ambrose, Toby Kebbell, Nell Tiger Free, and Rupert Grint all reprise their characters in the upcoming second season of Servant.

Servant takes place six weeks after the death of Dorothy and Sean Turner's 13-week-old son. The Philadelphia couple hire a young nanny, Leanne, to move in and take care of their new baby, Jericho, who is a reborn doll. The doll, which Dorothy believes is her real child, was the only thing that brought her out of her catatonic state following Jericho's death. While Sean deals with the grief on his own, he becomes deeply suspicious of Leanne. As season 1 carries on, the suspicions of Leanne start to spread to the rest of the family, before she ultimately disappears with the baby at the conclusion of the season 1 finale. The season 2 teaser and images don't really explain anything in detail, but they all invite fans to speculate about what comes next.

One of the photos from this Apple TV+ drama features Dorothy as she stands in the room where Leanne used to sleep. Another sees Sean talking to police, though it is unclear what exactly he can say to them, since their situation is a little bit different than most. The third and final photo features Sean, Dorothy, and Julian drinking wine in front of a laptop, deep in discussion. Fans of M. Night Shyamalan have been impressed with Servant thus far, and many are looking forward to seeing how season 2 continues, while looking for clues throughout any piece of new information about the hit show.

Servant is created by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts nominated executive producer and writer Tony Basgallop. In addition to M. Night Shyamalan and Basgallop, the thriller is executive produced by Ashwin Rajan, Jason Blumenthal, Todd Black and Steve Tisch. Taylor Latham and Patrick Markey serve as co-executive producers.
