USA Network is here to give Psych fans an early Christmas gift. The highly-anticipated Psych: The Movie recently debuted and if you missed it, you need not worry. USA Network has released the long-awaited Psych reunion movie online and you can watch it right now for free. No sign-in or any other sort of hoops of the like to jump through. There's no word on how long they're going to keep it that way, though. So you'd better watch it while you can. Given that a lot of fans caught up with the show via streaming platforms after it had already started airing, it's nice that the network is allowing those without access to cable to watch it for free.

In Psych: The Movie, the ambitious friends, along with some returning fan-favorite characters, come together during the holidays after a mystery assailant targets one of their own. A comedic thrill ride follows, as the wild and unpredictable Psych team pursues the bad guys, justice. And food. The movie, which is the first new bit of Psych fans have had since Psych was canceled several years ago, picks up three years after the series finale.

Psych: The Movie sees the return of James Roday and Dule Hill, who return as Shawn and Gus respectively for the special with Corbin Bernsen, Kirsten Nelson, Maggie Lawson and Kurt Fuller all set to appear as well. Zachary Levi will be in the movie as villain Thin White Duke. Jazmyn Simon, Ralph Macchio, John Cena and Charlotte Flair also set appear in the movie, which, if we're lucky, won't be the last. Psych creator Steve Franks co-wrote the Psych movie with James Roday, who also directed the special.

So far, the reaction to Psych: The Movie has been very positive. There aren't enough reviews online for Rotten Tomatoes to declare a critic's consensus yet, but all of the reviews that are currently counted are positive. So, technically, it has a 100 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The fan score so far sits at 87 percent, with a really solid average rating of 4.6/5. So it sounds like the long wait for more Psych was worth it, as the movie appears to be a crowd-pleasing affair for the fans.

Psych originally ran for 8 seasons and a total of 121 episodes, making it a huge hit for USA during its run. Who knows? If this does really well, maybe we'll get to see more Psych movies in the future. Or a full revival season. That has become a popular trend in Hollywood these days. For now, fans have a new movie to enjoy. In case you still need to see it, or if you just want to rewatch it at your own convenience, you can watch Psych: The Movie over at USA Network.
