The first episode of Power Rangers Beast Morphers is all set to air tomorrow, March 2nd on Nickelodeon. To prepare fans for the Power Rangers Season 26, the network has released a brief teaser containing footage from the debut episode. The original cast just got together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the original series and excitement is high to watch the latest set of rangers finally go full beast mode. The new season features a brand-new cast along with other characters and new villains, including the intriguing Beast Bot sidekicks.

The four stars of Beast Morphers were announced at Power Morphicon last August and it includes, Rorrie Travis (Red Ranger), Jacqueline Scislowski (Yellow Ranger), Jasmeet Baduwalia (Blue Ranger), and Abraham Rodriguez (Gold Ranger). This is the first season of the Power Rangers to be released since Hasbro took over from Saban and from the description of the first episode, it looks like it is going to serve as an origin story. You can read the synopsis below.

"Scientists tap into the Morphin Grid, but an evil virus corrupts the technology and a new team of Power Rangers is formed to defend the Grid from evil."

Beast Morphers is set in the future where a secret agency combines a newly-discovered substance called "Morph-X" with animal DNA to create the Beast Morphers team. The clip that Nickelodeon released is full of action, which is exactly what one would come to expect from the long-running franchise. However, the show is produced primarily using footage, costumes, and props from the 2012 Japanese Super Sentai series Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters, which marks the first time that the franchise has gone backwards to adapt a skipped over Super Sentai series in the long history of the show.

In addition to the aforementioned Beast Bot sidekicks, the new Power Rangers will have a bunch of new weapons to use, which have been teased in the available promotional material. The Beast Bots are animals that fight alongside the team in their regular base mode or they can combine with Buster Vehicles to make even more configurations. Some of these powers involved tornadoes surrounding the Rangers as their animals roar to life. Everything is bigger and better for the series, giving Beast Morphers and entirely new look that fans of the old series should enjoy.

Power Rangers Beast Morphers premieres tomorrow at 7 AM, exclusively on Nickelodeon. This is a pretty big deal for Power Rangers fans and will hopefully be something that can introduce the franchise to a whole new audience while satisfying long-time fans at the same time. Regardless, we won't have to wait too much longer to find out what the response to the Power Rangers Season 26.
