After creating and starring in the comedy series Best Friends Forever, actresses and writers Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham returned to the small screen with their new series Playing House, which recently wrapped up its first season, airing Tuesday nights at 9 PM ET on the USA Network. We recently caught up with the two actresses to reminisce about the ten episodes as well as the season finale with the show preparing for its debut on DVD and Blu-ray later in the year. Lennon Parham plays Maggie Caruso, a married woman with her first child on the way, whose life is thrown into a tailspin when she learns her husband has been cheating on her. Jessica St. Clair plays Emma Crawford, a successful professional who puts her career on hold to help her longtime friend Maggie, which forces her to examine why she left her sleepy hometown of Pinebrook, Connecticut in the first place. I recently had the chance to speak with Jessica St. Clair and Lennon Parham via satellite, where they discuss coming up with the idea for Playing House, the wonderful cast they have assembled around them, and much more.
