We haven't heard a peep out of Cinemax's new series Outcast since the first trailer debuted at SDCC 2015 this past July. New York Comic Con is in full swing as we speak, and the pay cable channel thought this was a great opportunity to deliver another thrilling sneak peek. Straight from the Outcast panel, we have the brand new trailer for you here.

Outcast is the latest TV series to be based on a Robert Kirkman comic book. He is perhaps best known as the mastermind behind AMC's extremely popular zombie drama The Walking Dead, which debuted in 2010. As you can see in this latest footage, Outcast is sure to do for demonic possession what The Walking Dead has done for flesh eating.

Outcast was originally published by Skybound/Image with a script from Robert Kirkman and art by Paul Azaceta. This thrilling drama follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher with personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate, and the fate of the world, forever.

Patrick Fugit headlines Outcast as Barnes. He's a man searching for answers, and for redemption. He sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing them more pain. Philip Glenister takes on the role of Reverend Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is a soldier in God's holy war against the forces of evil on Earth. An inveterate drinker and gambler, he doesn't believe God intends people to sweat the small stuff.

Gabriel Bateman plays Joshua Austin, an eight-year-old who lives across town from Kyle. To his family's dismay, he appears to be in the clutches of demonic possession, but there's something very different about this possession and its connection to Kyle Barnes. We get to see some of these relationships play out in this latest footage. The pilot was directed by Adam Wingard. He directed the sleeper smash You're Next and then went onto helm the critically acclaimed genre favorite The Guest. At this time, Cinemax has not announced a premiere date for Outcast. It will debut sometime in 2016. Check out this sneak peek, which is sure to get you super excited. Heck, you might even subscribe to Cinemax just so you can see it!
