The CW's Arrow is winding down Season 2, with just three episodes remaining. Today, courtesy of Green Arrow TV, we have the first image from the season finale, "Unthinkable", which showcases the returning Nyssa al Ghul, played by Katrina Law. Take a look at this image, then read on for more details about the finale, airing Wednesday, May 14 at 8 PM ET on The CW Network, from executive producer Andrew Kreisberg.
The season finale follows Slade/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), as he tries to kill someone else close to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). To combat this impending attack, Sara/Black Canary (Caity Lotz) reaches out to Nyssa and the League of Assassins to help battle Deathstroke and his Mirakuru army. Here's what Andrew Kreisberg has to say about the finale.
"[Sara] went to go get help, because when you're fighting an army, you need an arm. She goes and gets Nyssa, and she comes back with the League. It's the Arrow, Canary, Roy and the League of Assassins vs. Slade and his Mirakuru army for the city. The finale is insane!"
Take a look at the finale's official synopsis below.
Slade (Manu Bennett) moves forward with his plan to kill one more person in Oliver's (Stephen Amell) life. While Oliver has fought all year to be more than the killer he once was, when Slade kidnaps someone close to Oliver's heart, Oliver is pushed to the edge and realizes sometimes it takes doing the unthinkable to stop the monster. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) takes on Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) with a little help from some friends, and Thea (Willa Holland) turns to Roy (Colton Haynes) in her time of need.
