Comedy Central's The Colbert Report is currently airing its last week of shows ever, with host Stephen Colbert moving on to take over CBS' The Late Show from retiring host David Letterman. Taking over for The Colbert Report next month is The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore, which was originally announced as Minority Report. To get fans ready for this new program, Comedy Central has released a sneak peek featuring host Larry Wilmore trying to spread the word of the 'nightlyness' that fans will get to see in January.

Created by Jon Stewart and produced by Stewart's Busboy Productions with Stewart, Larry Wilmore and Rory Albanese serving as Executive Producers, The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore continues Comedy Central's grand tradition of producing groundbreaking late night formats and will provide viewers with Wilmore's distinct point of view and comedic take on current events and pop culture. Hosted by Wilmore, the series will feature a diverse panel of voices, providing a perspective largely missing in the late night television landscape.

Larry Wilmore has also served as "Senior Black Correspondant" on Jon Stewart's The Daily Show, which will continue to air nightly at 11 PM on Comedy Central, followed by The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore at 11:30 PM, starting on January 19. Check out this new trailer for the upcoming late night series, and stay tuned for more videos as we get closer to the premiere.
