Don't let the "Candy Cane" title of this new trailer for The Strain fool you into thinking it's a sweet and sugary look at this highly-anticipated FX series from Guillermo del Toro. While the title is appropriate, it isn't the normal kind of candy cane you may be thinking of, with this footage showing a mysterious man tapping the ground with his cane, while leaving handfuls of candy behind. Who (or what) is this mystery man leaving the candy for? We'll have to wait until June to find out for sure. In addition, Entertainment Weekly has debuted a new poster that showcases the same kind of worm-like parasite that we saw in last week's trailer. FX hasn't issued a specific release date for this series yet, which stars Corey Stoll as a CDC canary team leader investigating an ancient strain of vampirism, so stay tuned for that announcement.
