The Emmy-winning comedy series Modern Family has breathed new life into the sitcom format, winning loads of awards and attracting a massive following in ABC's Wednesday night comedy block. Production is currently under way on Season 4 of the hit series, and one of the stars recently posted an intriguing photo that could be a big hint for an upcoming episode. Sofía Vergara posted a photo where she is dressed (rather convincingly) as comedy icon Lucille Ball. The question that remains is why?

It is possible that this season of Modern Family may feature an episode that pays homage to Lucille Ball's I Love Lucy. We'll have to wait until Season 4 airs to find out for sure.
