Yesterday, Netflix released a strange photo on the Marvel's Jessica Jones Twitter page, which featured a file folder that said "Cage - November." Since there was nothing else of significance featured in this photo, most fans assume this meant the streaming service was teasing a November debut for their third series, Marvel's Luke Cage. Of course, Marvel and Netflix still haven't confirmed the exact premiere date yet, but today we have a new report from Blackfilm, which claims that the show many actually debut sometime in late summer.

Marvel's Luke Cage is the third of four new shows on Netflix, the first of which, Marvel's Daredevil, debuted in April, followed by Marvel's Jessica Jones in November. The second season of Marvel's Daredevil is debuting in March, and Jessica Jones was just renewed last week for a second season, and it isn't known when that will debut yet. Netflix's Ted Sarandos said at the TCA winter tour gave a range of eight to 15 months between each show's debut, but that might not be the case with Marvel's Luke Cage.

If Marvel's Luke Cage debuts in August, it will be six months after Daredevil Season 2. It's worth noting that the first season of Marvel's Jessica Jones debuted seven months after Marvel's Daredevil, but there is only a five-month gap between the first season of Marvel's Jessica Jones and the second season of Marvel's Daredevil. We'll have to wait and see if Netflix will issue an official premiere date soon.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city--forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury. Marvel's Luke Cage is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.

The supporting cast also includes Rosario Dawson, reprising her role as Claire Temple, a.k.a. Night Nurse, Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth, Theo Rossi as Sonny, Alfre Woodard as Black Mariah, Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Sonia Braga as Claire Temple's mother. Another cryptic teaser for Daredevil Season 2 teased that Luke Cage may have a presence when that show returns in spring 2016. While the video didn't show any footage, it did reveal that Matt Murdock's favorite Hell's Kitchen dive bar, Josie's, will be turned into Luke's, hinting that Luke Cage himself may take over the bar. When do you think Luke Cage will debut on Netflix?
