Production has been under way on Marvel's next Netflix series, Luke Cage, since September, and we've already seen a handful of set photos so far. As shooting continues in New York City, Pop Sugar and The Daily Mail have new images that offer our first look at Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, a.k.a Night Nurse and Simone Missick as Misty Knight. We also get new looks at Mike Colter as the title character, Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard and Frank Whaley as Detective Scarfe. Some of these photos may contain a big SPOILER, so read on at your own risk.

Some of the photos feature Rosario Dawson's Claire Temple coming to the aid of Detective Scarfe, who has been shot in the stomach. Another photo features Scarfe laying wounded on the ground, surrounded by Misty Knight, Claire Temple and Luke Cage himself. We don't know at this time if Scarfe will survive this gunshot wound, but it's possible that he may not make it to the end of Season 1. Other photos feature Mariah Dillard watching over Luke Cage.

After a sabotaged experiment leaves him with super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive trying to rebuild his life in modern day Harlem, New York City. But he is soon pulled out of the shadows and must fight a battle for the heart of his city-forcing him to confront a past he had tried to bury. Mike Colter leads a cast that also includes Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth and Theo Rossi as Shades.

It isn't known if Daredevil (Charlie Cox) himself will pop up in Luke Cage, but a teaser for Daredevil Season 2 teased that Luke Cage may have a presence when that show returns in spring 2016. While the video didn't show any footage, it did reveal that Matt Murdock's favorite Hell's Kitchen dive bar, Josie's, will be turned into Luke's, hinting that Luke Cage himself may take over the bar. It isn't known when Season 2 of Daredevil will debut yet, but it will most likely arrive before Luke Cage.

Cheo Hodari Coker will serve as executive producer and showrunner of Luke Cage. The showrunner wrote the first two episodes of the series that will premiere in 2016, everywhere that Netflix is available. Netflix's Marvel's Iron Fist is also expected to debut sometime in 2016, but the show still hasn't cast its title character as of yet. While we wait for new details on all of these Netflix programs, take a look at the latest photos from the set of Luke Cage.
