Fuller House star Lori Loughlin has surrendered to authorities after yesterday's indictment. Loughlin just returned from Vancouver, Canada where she was working. The actress is being charged for her alleged involvement in a nationwide college bribery scam to get her daughters into USC. Loughlin's husband Mossimo Giannulli was also arrested and posted $1 million bond and surrendered his passport. As for Loughlin, she is set to appear in court today for a primary hearing and will more than likely post bail and have to give up her passport too.

Lori Loughlin, Mossimo Giannulli, Desperate Housewives star Felicity Huffman, and dozens of other parents have been accused of bribing college entrance-exam administrators to allow cheating on the test along with athletic coaches to designate school applicants as athletic recruits, even if they do not actually play the sport. Loughlin and Giannulli's daughters are currently enrolled at USC as fake rowing-team recruits. They do not participate in the sport in any way. As it turns out, athletic recruits take priority over non-athletes at USC.

Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin reportedly paid the school $500,000 to get their daughters in to USC. Federal agents have emails from Loughlin, which implicate her further in the scandal. The report from federal authorities notes that in most cases, the students were unaware of what their parents were doing to get them into these prestigious schools all over North America. With that being said, Giannulli has a history of college-related fakery. After high school, Giannulli lied to his parents about attending USC and would just pocket the hefty tuition money that his parents gave him. He then took that money and started a clothing empire, Mossimo, which made him millions.

Mossimo Giannulli's kids know all about his "college" experience and have bragged about it in interviews before. As for Lori Loughlin, her character Becky had to deal with an issue like this in a 1993 episode of Full House, entitled Be True to Your Pre-School. In the episode, Uncle Jessie takes their twins' pre-school applications and embellishes them, which Aunt Becky was staunchly against. In the end, the truth comes out because Loughlin's Aunt Becky character can't go on with the deception. However, real-life proved to be much different for the actress and her husband.

None of Lori Loughlin's Fuller House co-stars are publicly commenting on her brush with the law. Loughlin is currently being charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud. In all, 33 parents were wrapped up in the college bribery scandal and millions of dollars have changed hands in that time. The scandal has also brought up Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, Harvard experience back into the news. Kushner attended the prestigious school after his father pledged $2.5 million to the Ivy league campus right before his son was accepted. ABC News was the first to report about the college bribery scandal.
