Lindsay Lohan is making a comeback and she's doing so in the most logical way for someone in her position; by making a reality series for MTV. Lohan became the subject of a lot of bad tabloid-esque press, due to her increasing pile of off-screen antics. She's kept a low-profile, in terms of her actual on-screen work, over the last handful of years. But that's set to change next year as the tentatively titled Lohan Beach Club is set to arrive on MTV, which you can watch the first teaser for right now.

"Pack your bags, MTV! We're going to Mykonos...Get Ready!" proclaims Lindsay Lohan in the brief teaser. The series will follow the Mean Girls star as she launches her Lohan Beach House in the Greek Islands in an attempt to expand her brand. Lohan also has her Lohan Nightclub in Athens, Greece and Lohan Beach House Rhodes in Rhodes, Greece. This sounds like it's kind of going to be a big commercial for her new destination in Mykonos as well as her first major Hollywood project in quite some time. MTV had this to say about what to expect from the series.

"The exclusive seaside destination will serve as a backdrop for the series and features luxury spa amenities, a renowned restaurant and a transformative day and nightclub poised to redefine the Mykonos experience."

Lohan Beach Club, assuming the title sticks, will follow the starlet as she leads a team of brand ambassadors who must prove their expertise, ambition and charm while bringing her vision to life. The stakes are high as the team establishes new friendships and alliances while striving to rise above the temptations the Mykonos nightlife scene has to offer. Nina L. Diaz, President, Programming and Development for MTV, had this to say in a statement.

"Lohan Beach Club (WT) offers viewers VIP access to one of the most exclusive destinations in the world, and a behind the scenes look at how a young, successful entrepreneur runs her empire. We are thrilled to have such a passionate and creative partner in Lindsay to help explore this intriguing culture, all through the eyes of her brand."

The last time Lindsay Lohan was seen on the big screen was in Paul Schrader's 2013 indie flick The Canyons. She's made an appearance here or there in the years since and was part of the cast for Sick Note in the U.K., which also stars Rupert Grint and Nick Frost. Beyond that, this is going to be far and away the most high-profile thing she's been involved in for the better part of a decade. The series is set to debut in 2019, but the network has yet to lock down an official release date.
