The hit CW shows Arrow and The Flash are well-known for their numerous crossover episodes, but tonight, this superhero universe will be taken to a whole new level. DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode titled Star City 2046 will add a time-travel component to these interconnecting story lines, with Arrow star Stephen Amell guest-starring as an older version of Oliver Queen. Before this episode airs tonight, Stephen Amell took to his Twitter page to share an up close and personal look at Oliver Queen in the year 2046, along with another photo where he's sitting alongside Caity Lotz.

Last week, Stephen Amell showcased a few more photos, one of which features six Legends of Tomorrow stars, White Canary (Caity Lotz), Atom (Brandon Routh), Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) and Firestorm (Franz Drameh), along with the older Oliver and a mystery guest. Oliver is facing this unknown character, who is seen with a quiver of arrows strapped to his back. But we can't quite make out who he is. The actor even teased fans by saying there are two Green Arrows in this photo, hinting this could be our first look at Connor Hawke.

It was never confirmed who is playing Connor Hawke. In the comics, he is the son of Oliver Queen. The October report claimed that this version of Connor won't be Oliver's son, but there was still speculation he could be, especially since the network hasn't announced who is playing Connor Hawke quite yet. The IMDB page for tonight's episode lists Joseph David-Jones as Connor Hawke, who appeared in last week's episode Fail-Safe, but was only credited as "Arrow." Since Joseph David-Jones is an African-American actor, it seems unlikely that Connor is Arrow's son, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility. Who knows who Oliver has had a relationship with in these converging timelines?

Last month, Marc Guggenheim revealed that the future Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character's appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. The photos released by Stephen Amell last week revealed that Oliver has some sort of a mechanical arm in place. What isn't known is if this episode will have any impact on Arrow, but that seems unlikely since it's set 30 years into the future.

The DC's Legends of Tomorrow crew ends up in 2046 Star City after the Waverider malfunctions. The heroes face a startling version of their own future where they never stop Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) and never return home. The city is in ruins and overrun by criminals, which thrills Rory (Dominic Purcell). Sara (Caity Lotz) is despondent over the destruction of her home and stunned when she learns what happened to her old friend, Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell). Take a look at these new photos before tuning in to DC's Legends of Tomorrow at 8 PM ET on The CW.
