The Arrowverse currently has two shows that are really known for screwing with timelines. For all of the jokes online about The Flash doing it, The CW's Legends of Tomorrow really take the cake. And now it looks like they straight-up broke that cake. The network has released the very first trailer for Legends of Tomorrow Season 3, courtesy of San Diego Comic-Con and we see that time is broken in a big way. Also dinosaurs. There are dinosaurs in it.

Unlike some trailers that debut at SDCC, The CW released the brand new trailer for Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 online right away, giving us our first look at what's to come this year on the series. As usual, the team is going to be all over the place in terms of the timeline and in all sorts of locations. The circus, the old west, the moon. It's all fair game. They also have a lot to fix this year because as revealed in the trailer, they really screwed up in a big way.

"Guys. I think we broke time."

The trailer opens with a massive set piece that features a ship crashing into a building. We then see dinosaurs popping up all over the city. Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 looks to be holding nothing back. It even looks like they might be unleashing a saber-tooth tiger at the circus at one point. How cool is that? Executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained that this very messy and broken time issue won't be fixed right away, but we are going to see why dinosaurs are roaming around Los Angeles.

"We won't fix time immediately but we'll see how dinosaurs in Los Angeles happened. Last season, Legends were the only game in town. Now, Rip Hunter has constituted a new version of what Time Hunters are. Now, Legends are up against the best and brightest."

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 is also going to be stepping it up in the villain department. Wentworth Miller is going to make is return to the Arrowverse as Captain Cold, which is usually a nice touch. But we are also going to be treated to Neal McDonough as Damien Dahrk. Could they be building to some more Legion of Doom action? That would be pretty cool and a big draw for hardcore DC fans. But, as evidenced by this trailer, it looks like Kuasa, the sister of Mari McCabe, a.k.a. Vixen, is going to be the main threat that the team is going to be facing down on the upcoming season.

There is a lot to love about the Arrowverse, but Legends of Tomorrow is easily the most sprawling show in the bunch and it looks like it will be blowing that wide open next season. The CW's Legends of Tomorrow Season 3 debuts on October 10, so plan your viewing accordingly.
