We have a new look at the live-action Kim Possible Movie showcasing the villains Dr. Drakken and Shego. Every great hero needs a great nemesis and for Disney's animated, redheaded high school hero, that was Dr. Drakken, with the help of his sidekick Shego. Naturally, the live-action movie is going to include them and now, we know what the duo is going to look like when brought to life. While mostly faithful to what was seen in the show, there are some big changes.

The image features Dr. Drakken (Todd Stashwick) on the left, with Shego (Taylor Ortega) on the right. The costumes, for starters, look very faithful to what was showcased in the original series. Shego's hair even looks mostly correct, even though it isn't as cartoonishly big as it was in animation. As for Drakken, the look is right, in terms of the outfit and stature, but fans will be sure to note that his skin isn't actually blue. Instead, he's got some blue patterning around his neck and head. Co-director Zach Lipovsky talked a bit about the change. Here's what he had to say about it.

"It's like he's got a blue infection within. It's like some experiment or some dastardly plan went wrong years ago and now he's got this side effect where he's got a bluish hue."

Sticklers may be a little upset that Drakken isn't head-to-toe blue, but the explanation does seem to suit a live-action adaptation. Plus, from a practical standpoint, having someone do blue makeup all over their body is much more complex and time consuming. Since this is a Disney Channel Original movie, which means it doesn't carry a blockbuster budget, the decision also makes a bit of sense.

Prior to this, Sadie Stanley had been revealed as the main character during San Diego Comic-Con. Stanley's version of Kim Possible also looks very close to the animated version, though her pants are less baggy and, again, the hair isn't so dramatically big. But fans, overall, should be feeling good about what's coming down the pipeline. Co-director Adam B. Stein also talked a bit about Shego and how she's going to be personified in the movie.

"Shego is one of the funniest characters from the original show, but she's also incredibly tough. We had to find someone who could be hilarious and pull off the eye rolls and nail filing that Shego's known for, while still being physically threatening."

Kim Possible originally aired from 2002 to 2007 and ran for a total of 87 episodes. Additional cast members for this live-action take include Sean Giambrone as Ron Stoppable, Issac Ryan Brown as Wade Load and Alyson Hannigan as Kim's mom, Dr. Ann Possible. At the present time, Disney hasn't announced a release date, but it's expected that Kim Possible will arrive sometime in 2019. Be sure to check out the new image from Entertainment Weekly below.
