Juliette Lewis has signed on to star in the Fox limited series Wayward Pines, alongside Matt Dillon.

The story centers on a Secret Service agent named Ethan (Matt Dillon), who heads to the sleepy town of Wayward Pines, Idaho to find two federal agents who mysteriously went missing. However, the deeper he looks into this strange town, the more questions arise. Juliette Lewis is playing a local bartender who tells it like it is, and also has her suspicions about the town.

M. Night Shyamalan is executive producing the series, which we first reported on back in January, when Fox announced a number of limited series they had in development. Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club, Tru Calling) wrote the pilot script based on the novel "Pines" by Blake Crouch. Donald De Line and Ashwin Rajan are also executive producing the show, which will debut in midseason next year on Fox.

Juliette Lewis most recently starred in the films Hick and Open Road. She will next be seen on the big screen this fall in August: Osage County.
