Sony Pictures Television is bringing back Jerry Seinfeld's popular web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee for Season 2. Unlike Season 1, which featured 10 episodes, there will be 24 episodes produced for Season 2, debuting sometime this spring.

Here's what Jerry Seinfeld had to say about creating a show like this specifically for the Internet.

"It's kind of a new paradigm that we're trying to create. I think we both were craving that little sandbox feeling we had when we started out. This next go-round we're going to have to figure out some sort of revenue stream, so it makes more sense."

The first season aired with no ads on the Sony-owned site Crackle.com, as well as the show's official website ComediansInCarsGettingCoffee.com. The series follows Jerry Seinfeld in his vintage cars, driving other comedians around and waxing on the comedy biz. Season 2 will likely have some form of sponsorship to create more revenue, although no deals have been confirmed yet. The series generated more than 10 million unique visitors to Crackle.com in the first season.

Season 1 guests included Ricky Gervais, Alec Baldwin, and Michael Richards. It isn't known which comedians will be riding around with Jerry Seinfeld in Season 2.
