On last night's broadcast of Late Show with David Letterman, David Letterman and Jerry Seinfeld talked about Jerry's hit original comedy series on Crackle.com, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which was recently picked up by Crackle for a second season. During the conversation, Dave joked to Jerry that he's never been invited to guest star on the show -- and Jerry offered Dave a guest star role on the first episode of the second season. Season 2 of the unscripted comedy will launch this spring. Take a look at the clip from last night's episode of Late Show with David Letterman.

On January 6, 2013, Crackle announced that the series, which premiered on Crackle.com and across all Crackle platforms this past summer will return for a second season with 24 new episodes.

Immediately after its launch, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee became an instant viral hit. Each weekly episode featured Seinfeld alongside a well-known comedic guest including Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Alec Baldwin among others as they drive around in a car and converse over a cup of coffee. Or as Larry David quipped to Seinfeld during the series' first episode: "You've finally made a show about nothing."

Stylistically filmed with multiple cameras and hilariously unscripted, the series is unique among the Hollywood-viral video space and is enjoyed by fans of Seinfeld and of the guest comedians alike.

The series was created, stars and is produced by Jerry Seinfeld.
