Amazon has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming series Hunters. Right off the bat, this one has a lot of prestige and intrigue associated with it. For one, it's produced by Get Out and Us director Jordan Peele, via his Monkeypaw Productions company. Plus, it's got Oscar-winner Al Pacino leading an impressive ensemble cast. Last, and certainly not least, Pacino will be hunting Nazis in this show, which is quite the big hook.

Admittedly, this is a brief teaser that doesn't give us a whole lot to work with, but it's probably enough to grab the attention of quite a few potential viewers. We see a grizzled Al Pacino plotting out the locations of former Nazis like a madman. We get brief glimpses of him getting to work on said Nazis, which looks brutal and cinematic Pacino provides a bit of badass voiceover saying, "This is not murder, this is mitzvah." The definition of mitzvah is "a good deed done from religious duty." So that provides a little window into where the character stands.

Joining Al Pacino amongst the cast for the Amazon series will be Logan Lerman, Jerrika Hinton, Josh Radnor, Kate Mulvany, Tiffany Boone, Greg Austin, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Carol Kane, Saul Rubinek, Dylan Baker and Lena Olin. David Weil (Moonfall) created the series. He serves as an executive producer alongside Nikki Toscano (Shades of Blue), Alfonso Gomez-Rejon (American Horror Story), Win Rosenfeld (The Twilight Zone), Nelson McCormick (Prison Break) and Tom Lesinski (Mr. Mercedes). Weill and Toscano are set to serve as co-showrunners.

Hunters centers on a diverse group of Nazi hunters who reside in New York City in 1977. Known as "The Hunters", they have learned that hundreds of former high-ranking Nazi officials are now living among us with plans on creating a Fourth Reich in the United States. The eclectic team then sets out on a bloody mission to bring the Nazis to justice and dismantle their new genocidal plans.

One of the interesting elements here is the comeback of Al Pacino. This year alone, he starred in Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and is also starring in Martin Scorsese's The Irishman, which hits select theaters this weekend. After years of starring in underwhelming projects, one of our finest actors seems to be on the rise once again.

Jordan Peele, meanwhile, is on one heck of a hot streak as well. After winning an Oscar for Get Out, he became quite busy. The filmmaker is also producing The Twilight Zone revival for CBS All Access, which is gearing up for season 2, and he's got his Candyman reboot coming out next year, as well as a couple of yet-to-be-revealed directorial projects set up at Universal. Hunters does not yet have a release date, but is set to arrive sometime in 2020 via Amazon Prime Video. Be sure to check out the teaser for yourself.
